Bonyi: Living Culture, Munimba-ja Art Centre, 2025

Bonyi: Living Culture is an annual exhibition celebrating Bonyi Season. Our 2025 exhibition features First Nations design, weaving, dyeing and printmaking practices.

Artists Bianca Bond - Kabi Kabi, Jahmarley Davis - Kabi Kabi, Rachel Bywaters - Gomeroi, Sasha Parlett - Malyangapa and Barkindji, Peter Hughes - Gundungara, Dharawal & Yuin, will create new works or reiterations of existing works that focus on ancestral connections to Bonyi or equivalent cultural resources and knowledge from their own Country.

The works presented by artists focus on ancestral connections to Bonyi and reflect ongoing relationships to Country, culture and seasonal knowledge.
